Membership
Membership is open to all persons or organizations interested in Smith County history. Dues include subscriptions to the Society monthly newsletter and the Society publication Chronicles of Smith County, Texas.
The Society holds regular monthly programs, free and open to the public, on the first Tuesday of each month in the Payne Auditorium on the second floor of the Carnegie History Center, located at 125 South College Avenue in Tyler, Texas. The programs start at 7:00 p.m. and consist of a hospitality time, a short business meeting and a guest speaker. The speaker topics are always informative about the history of Smith County.
Membership levels and associated dues are as follows:
