Carnegie History Center
The building housing the Smith County Historical Society museum and archives is called the Carnegie History Center and is located at 125 South College Avenue in downtown Tyler, Texas. Payne Auditorium is located on the second floor with elevator and stairs access.
The main entrance to the Carnegie History Center is on the east side, facing South College Avenue. A handicap entrance is on the north side of the building. Payne Auditorium access for events after normal museum hours is only available through the north side entrance.
Limited free parking is available on the west side of the Carnegie History Center, with access from West Elm Street. Additional paid parking is available along the street and in nearby lots.

Camp Ford Historic Park
The park is located on US Highway 271, 0.8 miles north of Loop 323 ENE in Tyler, Texas.
The park, open dawn to dusk, features a kiosk with extensive graphics detailing the history of the camp, a walking trail with more interpretive signage, a picnic area, and a reconstruction of the prisoner cabin. There are no restroom facilities. Portions of the park are not handicap accessible.
Plenty of free parking is available on the west side of the park, with access from the Loop 323 NNE Extension.
